About
Coach Christian Kessenich
Strength & Conditioning Director
Christian Kessenich is a performance coach from New Orleans, Louisiana. He earned a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Southern Mississippi, where he also played collegiate soccer, and an M.A. in Sport Coaching Education from the University of Denver.
He holds certifications as a CSCS through the NSCA, BioForce Certified Conditioning Coach, Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist, TPI Level 1 Coach, and USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach. Christian has also gained hands-on training in sports science analysis, soft tissue and joint mobilization, leadership development, and athlete assessments.
Over the past 13 years, Christian has coached in collegiate, professional, private, and tactical settings. He has worked with athletes who advanced to the NFL, MLB, MLS, U.S. Track & Field, and U.S. Special Operations, including the 75th Ranger Regiment, Navy SEALs, TAC-P, and Combat Controllers. His experience spans sports such as baseball, softball, soccer, football, track and field, volleyball, hockey, lacrosse, wrestling, golf, sailing, and tennis.
He has coached at the University of Montana, Embry-Riddle, Stanford, Lee University, Clemson, Charlotte Independence FC, College of Charleston, Colorado Rampage Tier 1 AAA Hockey, and the CCOE Team USA Regional Medical Center. Most recently, he worked with the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division.
Now back in Colorado Springs, Christian supports the U.S. Army’s 4th Infantry Division and serves as Director of Performance for 365 Performance and Colorado Rampage.
Outside of coaching, he enjoys hiking, snowboarding, kayaking, triathlons, mountain biking, cooking, and spending time with his dog, Marley
Coach Casey Dion
Coach Dion grew up in Colorado Springs, where he began his hockey journey playing youth hockey with the Pikes Peak Miners. He went on to compete in four seasons of junior hockey in the NAHL, BCHL, and SJHL. Following his junior career, he played NCAA hockey at the University of Wisconsin–Superior, earning a degree in Exercise Science.
Motivated by a passion for athletic performance and rehabilitation, Coach Dion pursued a career in physical therapy. He studied under some of the world’s most respected physical therapists and later became the director of a sports performance division within a physical therapy clinic. There, he specialized in training and rehabilitating long-distance runners and mountain bikers.
With a background as a collegiate hockey player and strength coach, Coach Dion brings a unique and valuable perspective to athlete development. His experience gives him deep insight into the physical and mental demands placed on hockey players both on and off the ice.
Coach Nick Roman
A native of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, Nick Roman earned his bachelor’s degree from York College of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the men’s lacrosse program. During his collegiate career, he earned both USILA Academic All-America and Athletic All-America honors.
Nick started his coaching career at IGNITE Elite Athletics, a private sports performance facility in Pennsylvania. During his time at IGNITE, he worked with youth, high school, and collegiate athletes with a focus on strength development, speed and agility, and long-term athletic development. From 2023–2025, he also served as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the York College of Pennsylvania men’s lacrosse program.
After relocating to Colorado in April 2025, Nick joined Cheyenne Mountain High School as a Strength Coach and assistant boys’ lacrosse coach, supporting athlete development across the program. In the fall of 2025, he served as a part-time Strength and Conditioning Coach at Colorado College, where he worked with the cross country and men’s lacrosse programs.
Nick currently serves as the physical training instructor for the Colorado Springs Fire Department trainees.
Nick holds the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the NSCA.
Coach Daniel Byers
Daniel Byers is from Red Wing, Minnesota. He earned a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls (UWRF), where he competed in Cross Country and Track. He will be starting his Master’s in Sports Analytics at Ole Miss and holds NSCA certifications including CSCS, RSCC, and CPT.
Over the past four years, Daniel has gained experience working with athletes across multiple levels and populations. For three years, he served as a hockey strength coach with FHIT Hockey in Hudson, Wisconsin, while also working as a personal trainer at the Hudson YMCA and UWRF. This past year, he worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the U.S. Army at Fort Carson with the 1st Brigade.
Outside of coaching, Daniel enjoys running, golfing, lifting, hiking, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
Coach Kevin Gregory
Coach Kevin is a strength & conditioning coach with over 19 years of experience. Kevin received his is Bachelor of Arts from Westmont College in Santa Barbra, CA, and his Masters Degree from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ.
Before joining the 365 Performance team, Coach Kevin was the Director of Football Performance at Santa Barbra City College. He has a passion for coaching kids and helping them become the best athletes possible
